Hoshi Saga - An all gray multi-part game where you're trying to "find" a star in a
series of different levels. The game play is always different and how you find or construct the star varies from level to level. It took me a few days to unlock and beat all of the levels.
series of different levels. The game play is always different and how you find or construct the star varies from level to level. It took me a few days to unlock and beat all of the levels.
Compulse - A physics game at it's core involves: a ball, an exit "gate", switches to "unlock" the gate, and a mix of user placeable directional (up, down, left, or right) force generators. There are some additional features in some levels like teleporters, spiky "kill" balls, and walls. It's got a mellow oriental soundtrack that makes playing pretty relaxing.Bloxorz - A rectangular block, a game board of varying shape floating in space, a hole you need to drop the block through. Flip the block end-over-end or roll it along it's shorter dimensions, but make sure not to fall off the
edges of the board. This game took me almost a month of play to complete all the levels on. When you first start out, the movements and patterns seem really tough to get your head around, but by the time you're into the double-digit levels, you'll find yourself thinking several abstract moves ahead. This is a great game to play if you need to break yourself out of a thinking rut.
Filler - Small balls bouncing around inside a box. Inflate balloon like balls to fill 2/3 of the game area. If the small balls hit your inflating balloon, it'll pop. Simple but fun. That's all for now, but I'll probably follow up with some more games in the near future.
